Holland is a small town that likes to deliver the options of a big town. I take pride that I know the name of the chef at one of my common restaurants… my daughter is friends with his. I went to school with the owner of the bike shop where you . I had drinks with the owner of the clothing store and have known the coffee shop guy for 20 years now.

What I love about going local is that there is a small amount of very naunced local culture every where you go. You don’t get a taste of that culture following top 10 lists or chasing star ratings. I like the little stories, the small things, and the names of the owners.
